If you know us (and our vacationing style), you'll know that aquariums are our "thing." We're kind of addicted to them. If we're in a city or town with an aquarium, we are going to that aquarium for at least a few hours. We've even spent an entire day of vacation at an aquarium in the past (check out the Georgia Aquarium if you get a chance). So, when we scheduled a trip to Chattanooga this summer, we knew we were going to have to visit the Tennessee Aquarium, and we're so glad we did.
We still think the Georgia Aquarium is probably No. 1 in our books, but we had a splendid time at the Tennessee Aquarium. We signed up to take a behind-the-scenes tour. That was probably the best part. We saw baby penguins and met the scuba divers that feed the fish. We watched them feed the turtles and the rays. It was pretty cool. We would definitely recommend it to anyone heading to Chattanooga!
